Introduce yourself to the challenge and thrill of rock climbing in the natural beauty of the Muskoka Lakes. This adventure is designed for the total beginner or indoor climber yearning to try climbing outdoors. Our program is located just up the Muskoka River and begins right at our store in Bracebridge.

You will experience the adventure of paddling up the Muskoka River to ascend a collection of the various routs up the 40ft rock face overlooking the river surrounded in a panoramic view of the Muskoka forest.

Kushog Lake

We use a few great locations in the Muskoka area and because we are local we know which areas offer the best conditions, plus in most cases we are ready to go well before you arrive for your day of climbing. One of our favourites is Kushog Lake. Kushog lake offers many great climbs of varying difficulty. It is our best area to have you learn your techniques on easier grade ice so you are ready for each more difficult challenge. Your first climbs of the day are Blue Boy (WI2-2+) then we make our way to Caramel Coating (WI3). See our Intermediate course if you have previous climbing experience and would like a bigger challenge. Each ice fall here can be climbed many different ways and is sure to offer you a very full day and a great appetite for an after climb social at one of the local restaurants in the area.
