Muskoka Outfitters offers a great variety of the latest equipment for rental during both the summer and winter seasons. Rental equipment is a great way to see if you enjoy one of our great activities and can make the great outdoors more accessible to anyone looking to enjoy it. Reservations: Reservations can be made up to one month in advance. Payment for the amount of one day's rental - a reservation fee - must be given at the time a reservation is made. Cash, debit card, or credit cards are accepted (credit cards only for phone reservations).|
Payment: All rental charges must be paid for in full at the time of pick-up. Payment can be made with cash, Visa or MasterCard.
Damage Deposit: Current, valid photo identification (driver's license or passport) must be shown for all rentals. In addition to the rental charges, a refundable deposit must be paid at the time of pick-up for all off site rentals. This deposit must be paid on Visa or MasterCard. The following amounts will be charged to the credit card at the time of pick-up: $300.00 for each ski and boat package; and $100.00 per item for other items. When the rental items are returned, the deposit amounts will be credited to the credit card, less any damage, cleaning, or late charges (see Damage Policy below).
Credit Toward Purchase: One day's rental fee may be deducted from the purchase of the same equipment within 30 days of the rental (proof of rental required). This policy does not apply to mark-down items.
Cancellations: Full refunds are given for cancellations that are made 48 hours in advance of the scheduled reservation. Cancellations less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time will result in forfeiting the reservation fee.|
Rental pick-up: Pick-up is anytime between 4:00 p.m. and store closing the day before; return anytime between store opening and 12:00 p.m. the day after use.
Late Return: Rentals returned late will be charged the single day rate for each day late.
Damage/Dirty/Lost Policy: If rental equipment is returned in damaged or dirty condition, the renter will be responsible for cleaning and repair costs. Shop rate will be charged ($35/hr, $10 minimum), plus any parts and materials for cleaning or repair. Replacement cost for lost, stolen or destroyed rental equipment is full retail value. Expenses incurred under this policy will be charged to the deposit.
